Answer

A good place to start looking is Education Research Complete in Ebsco.

To do a really precise, relevant search, use the Thesaurus. Click on Thesaurus at the top, and in the lower search box (the one labeled Browse Education Thesaurus), enter your terms 'classroom management'. Click 'Relevancy Ranked' and then click the Browse button.

This will give you any subject headings related to classroom management. Click the checkboxes next to the headings that you want to use. Then click the Add button. (You will want to consider whether your search terms should be added with an AND or an OR separating them - OR will get you more hits)

Your selected subject headings should appear in the upper search box now. If you want, add one or two specific keywords related to your topic. Click search.

Take a look at how many results you got. You can refine your search by date range, and by limiting to just peer-reviewed (scholarly) articles.

If you don't find what you're looking for on the first page, scroll through a few more pages. Some article titles can be really misleading; click on the title and read the abstract to get a better idea of what its about. Re-assess your search strategy...you may need to be more, or less, specific.
