How long does it take to get an article with Interlibrary Loan?

Answer

Please be aware that our interlibrary loan service is not instantaneous. It can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks in order to get the article you've requested. In most cases we are able to forward to you an electronic copy in less than a week. We do rely on the staffing and generosity of other libraries to process requests, so we cannot make any guarantees on turnaround time. There is no cost to you (if we cannot find a free copy, then we will check with you before authorizing any charges).
