Using the Ebsco search box on the library home page means that you are searching 16 Ebsco databases for scholarly journal articles:

  • Academic Search Premier
  • ATLA Religion Database with Full Text
  • Business Source Premier
  • ATLA Catholic Periodical Literature Index
  • CINAHL with Full Text
  • Education Research Complete
  • ERIC
  • Greenfile
  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
  • History Reference Center
  • Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts
  • Literary Reference Center
  • MasterFILE Premier
  • Professional Development Collection
  • PsycINFO

By default, when you enter the search, the scholarly/peer-reviewed checkbox is checked (you don't see this, but it is coded in). So your search will return only articles from scholarly journals. You can use the Full Text checkbox to get only articles that have full text included.
