Q

I found an article online but I'm being asked to pay a $35 access fee. I do not want to pay for it. Is there a way to get it for free?

Answer

You should not pay for any articles that you have found through the library's online journals. Check the listing of our Online & Print Journals (http://rz9gv4tk9a.search.serialssolutions.com/) to see what is available to you through the library. If we do not own the title that you are looking for, we can get it for you through Interlibrary Loan (http://www.cse.edu/academics/mahoney-library/services/interlibrary-loan-article-request.dot). You need your library barcode number (sticker on the back of your ID card) to request an ILL. Please keep in mind that it might take several days for an ILL article to arrive.
