I seriously can't stand when there are students in the library trying to study in a quiet enviroment and there is people with their headphones on right next to you with their music blasting loud enough for the entire library to listen. I find it very rude and inconsiderate. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I know I can leave and go else where to study but when it happens everywhere you go it is really difficult. Thank you so much.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us and expressing your concern about noise in the library.

Your concern is shared by others and of importance to library staff members.  We will be alert to noise audible from headphones and other electronic devices, Still, should we be unaware of any distracting situation, please communicate that problem on the spot to a staff member. We will appreciate the chance to maintain a more quiet environment conducive to learning for you and others.

Thank you, again, for letting us know!
