How long can students keep books that they have checked out?

Answer

Students can check out books from the circulating collection and keep them for 28 days.  They can also renew the book once for an additional 28 days.

Students can also check out books from the FDU libraries found on our shared catalog for 28 days.  However, ebooks belonging to FDU and listed in the catalog are not available for checkout by CSE students.

The length of time students can take out books via inter-library loan is determined by the lending library.

Reference books do not circulate.  Students must use items from the Reference collection in the library.
