How do you put a picture in a gmail message, so that it automatically pops up and shows when you open it?

Answer

Put your cursor in the body of the email and mouse over the plus sign on the gray bar at the bottom of the compose box. Additional icons will appear. Click the camera icon to insert photos. Browse your files to select the desired image. Click OK. The image should now be embedded in the body of your email message.
